Why did I choose to study Biotechnology? During my undergrad as a microbiologist, an introduction to molecular biology occurred during my third-year interning at a prestigious national institute. During this period, I had the privilege of extracting DNA, and through this experience, I became aware of the remarkable possibilities that gene manipulation holds. Inspired by this revelation, I delved into researching biosensors that leverage the genetic characteristics of microorganisms, ultimately presenting a paper on my findings. Since that pivotal moment, my passion for biotechnology has been unwavering, driven by the desire to explore and harness the natural wonders of microorganisms at the genomic level
Why did I decide to study in Poland?
My decision to pursue studies in Poland was influenced by multiple factors that I came across during my research. I became acquainted with the applied biotechnology master's program at the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) through various sources, including the Master's portal, study in Poland platforms, and the official WUT website. What drew me to WUT was its prominent position in the field of science and the significant presence of African students, particularly in my chosen area of study.
Apart from the university's academic reputation, Poland possesses a captivating cultural heritage and attracts a substantial number of tourists enticed by its breathtaking landscapes. The prospect of merging my educational pursuits with the opportunity to explore the enchanting cities of Poland greatly appealed to me. I am eager to immerse myself in the rich history and picturesque scenery while simultaneously pursuing my studies.
