Why did you choose to study Chemical and Process Engineering?

I used to be that girl who hated chemistry in middle school, but later I started pushing myself just to get better grades in my chemistry classes because I did not want to fail a single subject in high school. Eventually, I became obsessed with it and grew to become one of the best young chemists in the country at the time. During my high school years, like many students, I began wondering what to do with the rest of my life. It is actually a funny yet slightly sad story because climate change and global warming have scared me ever since I was little. That fear became a driving force, and now I want to dedicate my life to making the world greener and greater using the knowledge I gain through science. For me, chemical engineering was the perfect choice because I love both chemistry and engineering as much as I love imagining a better world and finding ways to make it real.

Why did you decide to study in Poland?

Maria Skłodowska-Curie has always been my role model in science. Just imagining myself studying in her home country gives me a deep sense of inspiration and connection. To study here feels like stepping into a time rift, where past and present collide in the language of atoms and discovery. It feels like walking in the footsteps of a brilliant mind who changed the world through curiosity and persistence. Choosing Poland was not just an academic decision for me. It was a dream choice, a chance to experience what a great mind once experienced and to see the world, even for a moment, from her perspective.
