On 27 January 2025, in the Rektorska 4 building, the Centre for International Cooperation of Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with the Embassy of India in Warsaw organised the Odissi dance performance by a group led by Ms Madhavi Mudgal, a famous Indian dancer, who received numerous awards. The dance group visited Warsaw to celebrate the 76th Republic Day of India.
The Embassy was represented by the First Secretary Mr Krishnendu Banerjee as well as the Embassy’s employees Mr Rajat Raj Verma and Ms Aleksandra Syropolska. Warsaw University of Technology was represented by Deans, heads of units, teachers, administration staff as well as PhD students and students from Poland and abroad. The participants were impressed by the perfection of the dancers' performance, dressed in traditional, colourful costumes.
