Legalization & apostille

What documents should be legalized/apostilled?

• Candidates for B.sc. level – only on your High School Leaving Certificate (main document) uploaded in the Online Application System in Entry Documents.
• Candidates for M.Sc. level – only on your Bachelor’s degree diploma (main document) uploaded in the Online Application System in Entry Documents.

Why do I need Legalization or an Apostille?

Shortly - both give your main document an official status to use it in Poland. They confirm that your document is in formal conformity with the law in the country in which it was issued. The difference depends on whether that country signed the "Hague Convention for Foreign Public Documents" or not. 

Legalization or Apostille?

• Apostille - on documents issued in the country's educational system that signed the "Hague Convention for Foreign Public Documents".
• Legalization - on documents issued in the country's educational system that did not sign the "Hague Convention for Foreign Public Documents".

*NOTE: 

On diplomas and high school certificates from Pakistan we require legalization, not an apostille.

The legalization should be from the Embassy of Poland in Islamabad.
