What authorities can legalize my High School Leaving Certificate/Bachelor’s degree? 

• the Polish Embassy or Consulate in the country where your document was issued
• the Embassy of the country where the document was issued is located in Poland or another EU country
• the Ministry of Education of the country where the document was issued

*If you apply for Bachelor's degree studies and your high school certificate has to be recognised by the Polish Education Office, legalization should be done either by the Embassy/Consulate of Poland in the country where your high school certificate was issued or by the Embassy/Consulate of the country which issued your certificate located in one of the EU countries.  

What does legalization look like? 

Legalization is usually a stamp from the Embassy/Consulate.  

If your legalization is from the appropriate Ministry of Education, then the stamp should indicate the name of that institution.
